With a team of handpicked stylists by our director, Kylie, you will feel at ease with any one of our highly skilled stylists. The team takes pride in their work and are constantly upskilling and learning at every opportunity.

Our salon is more than just a workplace—it’s a space full of warmth, talent, and energy. It’s a space filled with good vibes, big laughs, genuine connection. We love healthy hair and the integrity of your hair is of the utmost importance to us.

Our aim is to give you the hair of your dreams in a relaxed and engaging environment.

Hey, I'm Kylie – your new (or maybe familiar!) Salon Director!

I’m a mum of 2 (almost teenage) boys, wife, foodie, gym girlie, and total holiday lover who’s been in the hair industry for 21 years. Yep—this has been my world for more than two decades, and I still love it just as much as day one! I couldn’t be more excited to welcome you into this beautiful new chapter that is The Tortoise and The Hair.

After 17 incredible years running my own salon in Victoria, I made the big move to the Gold Coast with my beautiful family for a fresh start and a little more sunshine. Selling my salon was huge—but it also opened the door to something even more special: a new space, a new dream, and a new chapter surrounded by a team I absolutely adore.

I’m so proud of the team around me, and I feel genuinely lucky to be part of what we’re creating here. I’m so excited to welcome you into our beautiful space and share this next chapter with you x

Hey, I’m Paige- your newest hair bestie!

I am travel obsessed, a beach lover and proud puppy mum to Lenny.

Originally from sunny North Queensland, I’ve been hairdressing for over 10 years and have a serious love for all things blondes- whether it’s bright and poppy, soft and lived in, or a seamless balayage.

When I’m not in the salon, you’ll find me chasing the sun, exploring new restaurants, or planning my next adventure. I’m all about creating beautiful hair and making you feel amazing while doing it.

Hey, I'm Cintia

Your blonde specialist with a love for all things hair, cats and carbs! Originally from Hungary but I’ve been enjoying the Gold Coast for the last 11 years.

Blondes are my thing- from soft, lived-in tones to bright, bold transformations, I love creating custom looks that suit your vibe and lifestyle.

When I’m not in the salon, you’ll usually find me watching mystery TV shows, cuddling with my cat, enjoying Italian food, or soaking up all the excitement of recently getting engaged!
