With a team of handpicked stylists by our director, Kylie, you will feel at ease with any one of our highly skilled stylists. The team takes pride in their work and are constantly upskilling and learning at every opportunity.
Our salon is more than just a workplace—it’s a space full of warmth, talent, and energy. It’s a space filled with good vibes, big laughs, genuine connection. We love healthy hair and the integrity of your hair is of the utmost importance to us.

Hey, I'm Kylie – your new (or maybe familiar!) Salon Director!
I’m a mum of 2 (almost teenage) boys, wife, foodie, gym girlie, and total holiday lover who’s been in the hair industry for 21 years. Yep—this has been my world for more than two decades, and I still love it just as much as day one! I couldn’t be more excited to welcome you into this beautiful new chapter that is The Tortoise and The Hair.
After 17 incredible years running my own salon in Victoria, I made the big move to the Gold Coast with my beautiful family for a fresh start and a little more sunshine. Selling my salon was huge—but it also opened the door to something even more special: a new space, a new dream, and a new chapter surrounded by a team I absolutely adore.
I’m so proud of the team around me, and I feel genuinely lucky to be part of what we’re creating here. I’m so excited to welcome you into our beautiful space and share this next chapter with you x

Hey, I’m Paige- your newest hair bestie!
I am travel obsessed, a beach lover and proud puppy mum to Lenny.
Originally from sunny North Queensland, I’ve been hairdressing for over 10 years and have a serious love for all things blondes- whether it’s bright and poppy, soft and lived in, or a seamless balayage.
When I’m not in the salon, you’ll find me chasing the sun, exploring new restaurants, or planning my next adventure. I’m all about creating beautiful hair and making you feel amazing while doing it.

Hi, I’m Rhoemi
I picked up my scissors at 18, got officially qualified at 20, and have been transforming hair (and moods) ever since. I specialise in Blonde Bombshell makeovers, blow dries that last, and giving curly hair the love it deserves.
Outside the salon, I’m a proud cat mum, a professional snacker, and a Gold Coast local who’s the happiest with sandy toes at the beach. I’ve travelled plenty, but nothing beats good hair and good vibes right here at home.

Hey, I’m Cintia
Your blonde specialist with a love for all things hair, cats and carbs! Originally from Hungary but I’ve been enjoying the Gold Coast for the last 11 years.
Blondes are my thing- from soft, lived-in tones to bright, bold transformations, I love creating custom looks that suit your vibe and lifestyle.
When I’m not in the salon, you’ll usually find me watching mystery TV shows, cuddling with my cat, enjoying Italian food, or soaking up all the excitement of recently getting engaged!
If you’re after gorgeous hair, genuine chats and a stylist who truely loves what she does-I’d love to have you in my chair x

Hey, I'm Amy
I’ve been hairdressing for 20 years, and yes- I’m still obsessed with it (don’t worry, the scissors are safe in my hands). I live for Pixie Cuts, Bleach-and-Tones, and precision colours that make people say “wow” in the mirror.
When I’m not in the salon, I love a good chat, a boogie, soaking up nature, and yes, a cold beer never goes astray. But what I love most? Connecting with people! If you sit in my chair, you’ll leave not just with amazing hair, but with a genuine, personal connection and plenty of banter along the way.

Hi, I’m Lily
I’m a 3rd year apprentice and absolutely loving the journey so far. You’ll usually find me perfecting a blow dry, nailing toners, or helping the girls around the salon. I love being a part of the team and learning something new every day.
Once I’m qualified, my dream is to specialise in blondes and long, luscious hair (the kind that turns heads).
Outside the salon, I’m all about good vibes- hanging out with friends, heading out for dinner and drinks, or spending a sunny day at the beach.
I may still be learning, but one thing’s for sure; I’ve got a big passion for hair and can’t wait to keep growing in the industry.
